A YEAR BETTER – WORK PACKAGE 4: Piloting to 120 targets

A YEAR BETTER consortium is pleased to announce the launch of the Work Package 4 activity: Piloting the AYB Training with 120 target group representatives. Piloting activity involves real-world testing with target audiences to assess usability, effectiveness, and impact. It aims to gather feedback, refine training materials, and monitor user satisfaction and preferences through anonymous usage statistics to monitor performance, usability, as well as user satisfaction and training preferences. Project partners will deliver AYB trainings, channeling through as many participants as possible, according to their internal schedule to ensure the maximum exposure. AYB training material includes a set of 10 training modules, available on the AYB OER Platform, each aligned with the 21 competencies outlined in the DigComp framework. A minimum of 120 seniors will be trained. Feedback from the particicipants will be collected from interested parties involved in training (participants, trainers, staff members, etc.,) at the end of each training course. Thanks to the results obtained by the piloting activity, project partners will further fine-tune AYB Training accordingly, in its final version. UNITY EUROPE Project Announces Successful Validation of Innovative Digital and Gamified Integration Tools for Young Migrants

The UNITY EUROPE consortium (Project No: 2023-2-FR02-KA220-YOU-000174752) is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its pan-European piloting and validation phase. Following months of intensive testing across Cyprus, France, Spain, and Türkiye, the project has confirmed the high efficacy of its innovative pedagogical resources in fostering the social and professional integration of young migrants and marginalized youth. Addressing the critical intersections of digital exclusion, employability, and psychosocial well-being, UNITY EUROPE has developed a comprehensive learning ecosystem. This includes a multilingual Open Educational Resources (OER) Platform and the UNITY Card Game, a gamified methodology designed to facilitate dialogue on complex social issues such as inclusion, civic values, and discrimination. Empirical Validation and Key Performance Indicators The piloting phase involved a diverse cohort of 130 participants, including young adults (aged 18–30) and professional youth workers. The cross-national results indicate a transformative impact on learner confidence and technical proficiency: A Strategic Step Toward Inclusive Youth Work “The piloting phase has demonstrated that combining structured digital learning with gamified, interactive methodologies is not just effective—it is essential for reaching vulnerable youth populations,” stated a project spokesperson. “The feedback from over 100 professionals and learners validates that UNITY EUROPE tools are scalable, transferable, and ready for long-term integration into European youth work programs”. ALL-IN Project Concludes with Online Closing Meeting

The ALL-IN project held its online Closing Meeting on 11 December 2025, bringing together all partner organisations to review achievements, assess impact, and outline the final steps of the project. The meeting opened with a welcome and introduction led by IT Solutions for All, followed by a comprehensive overview of WP1 Project Management, including quality assurance processes and the project’s impact exercise. These sessions highlighted the coordination efforts and evaluation mechanisms that supported the project throughout its lifecycle. The outcomes of WP2 Assessment and Best Practices were presented, showcasing key insights gathered during the research and analysis phase. Then, the focus shifted to the practical results of the project, with presentations on the ALL-IN Toolbox and Gamification under WP3. The meeting continued with an overview of WP4, covering the ALL-IN OER Platform, test and validation activities, and dissemination actions. The agenda also included a dedicated session on green and sustainable practices, reinforcing the project’s commitment to sustainability. The meeting concluded with a joint discussion on next steps and final remarks from all partners, marking the formal closure of the ALL-IN project and celebrating its collaborative achievements. After 24 months of implementation, all planned activities and expected results have been successfully achieved. The Closing Meeting served as a moment to reflect on the project’s overall impact and collaborative work, while confirming that the ALL-IN project will officially come to an end on 31 January. Gamification for Inclusion: the piloting of the WP3 of ALL IN Project reaches early double its target

The ALL IN project, an Erasmus+ project focused on promoting inclusive communication and advancing language learning for inclusive narratives, proudly announces the outstanding results of its Work Package 3 (WP3), dedicated to gamification activities. WP3 aimed to develop and implement interactive and gamified learning activities as part of the ALL IN digital toolbox for inclusive communication. The initial scope of the WP3 has been expanded to add additional interactive elements such as card games, fill-in-the-blank exercises, extended bingo sessions and an awareness game. The piloting phase of the toolbox, led by all partner organisations, far exceeded expectations. While the initial target was to engage 100 participants, the gamified activities attracted 188 learners across five countries, demonstrating strong interest and broad relevance of the approach. The distribution of participants was as follows: IT Solutions for All (Spain): 66 participants, Arrabal AID (Spain): 60 participants, Demostene (Italy): 16 participants, Circle (Poland): 18 participants, IHF (Brussels): 11 participants, Solution (France): 17 participants. These impressive figures confirm the high appeal and accessibility of the gamification activities developed within WP3, reflecting their capacity to involve a wider audience than originally projected. The target audience for WP3—including individuals, educators, and organisations—benefited significantly from an inclusive and accessible approach to learning and communication. Beyond individual learning outcomes, the WP3 activities generated a positive impact on societal inclusion by supporting accessible and motivational pathways for adult learners to deepen their skills and confidence. European Consortium Published New Analysis and Policy Recommendations on the Digital Gender Gap

A European consortium released a new English-language analysis and policy recommendations that exposed how digital inequalities continued to shape women’s lives across Europe. Completed in late 2025, the publication examined who was left behind by digital transformation, where policy responses fell short, and why existing strategies repeatedly failed to address gendered risks online. The analysis was developed across Czechia, Spain, Italy, and Malta within a European project coordinated by Genderové informační centrum NORA, o.p.s. Researchers applied an intersectional framework to map digital access, skills, usage, employment, and innovation, revealing how unpaid care work, limited time for training, and exposure to online abuse systematically restricted women’s digital participation. Based on these findings, the consortium finalized targeted policy recommendations calling for concrete institutional action. “The data showed that digital exclusion was structural, not incidental,” the research team stated, pointing to the urgent need for investments in care infrastructure, gender-sensitive digital policies, and stronger responses to technology-facilitated gender-based violence. The publication marked a key step toward more inclusive digital policymaking in the EU and informed the project’s upcoming educational activities. HYPATIA Project Attends “Premios Lidera Mujer” in Málaga

IT Solutions for All is proud to announce the participation of its HYPATIA project in the Premios Lidera Mujer, an award program celebrating leadership, innovation, and the achievements of women across Spain. The HYPATIA project is dedicated to empowering homemakers by providing them with essential digital skills, practical knowledge to navigate the online world safely, and guidance to enter the labor market. By raising digital literacy and promoting internet safety awareness, HYPATIA enables participants to confidently engage with technology and seize new professional opportunities. The Premios Lidera Mujer 2025 are organized by La Associació Dones pel Futur, Fundación Nantik Lum, and Asociación Arrabal, and are funded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy. These awards recognize and support social and solidarity economy initiatives that are changing the world through everyday actions. Eureca. IWS has held several multiplier events

Internet Web Solutions (IWS) has successfully organized two public events to present the Eureca project, including its objectives and results, to a non-professional audience interested in urban ecology and environmental issues. The events were held in two separate sessions, bringing together a total of 79 attendees. The first session took place on July 16, 2025, and was attended by 16 people. The second session was held on November 13, 2025, and welcomed 63 participants across three different groups. Organization and Logistics From an organizational standpoint, IWS invited participants through its own social media channels and those of the Eureca project. The invaluable support and outreach from their associated partner, Arrabal, was also instrumental in promoting the events. Both sessions were hosted at Arrabal’s facilities, which provided ease of access and allowed for the broadest possible capacity.  Event Agenda The agenda for the events included the following key points: Project Results Highlighted A significant portion of the presentation was dedicated to showcasing the Best Practices in urban ecology, which the consortium partners (from Spain, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Portugal) have compiled from their respective countries. The urban ecology training courses also played a prominent role in the presentations. The comprehensive training corpus includes the following courses: All courses were presented with support from the Eureca online platform (https://www.eurecaedu.eu/), highlighting its functionality and accessibility. Furthermore, participants were introduced to the Case Studies focusing on the transnational consortium meetings in Lisbon (Portugal), Torrecuso (Italy), and Chrudim (Czech Republic). Feedback and Engagement Following the formal presentation, attendees were given the opportunity to participate in a dynamic and informal feedback session. Second Unity Europe Multiplier Event Engages Young Adults in Málaga to Showcase Project Results

Málaga, Spain – October 6, 2025 – On the same day as its first successful session, IT Solutions for All, together with the associated partner Arrabal-AID, organised a second UNITY EUROPE multiplier event at another Arrabal-AID training centre in Málaga. This event gathered 14 young adult participants enrolled in a Multifunctional Virtual Monitor training course, offering them an engaging introduction to the project’s innovative educational resources. During the session, facilitators presented the goals, activities and expected outcomes of the UNITY EUROPE project, an Erasmus+ KA2 initiative co-funded by the European Union. The project aims to enhance the social and professional integration of young immigrants (aged 18 to 30) in Europe by equipping them with essential skills and fostering active citizenship. A central feature of the event was the presentation of the UNITY EUROPE card game, which forms part of the project’s educational outputs. Participants were introduced to the game’s purpose, mechanics and use in non-formal learning environments. The card game generated lively discussion among attendees, who recognised its potential to encourage creativity, problem-solving and teamwork within their training pathway.
