GREEN TOUR Project Holds Its Official Kick-Off Meeting in Brussels

The partners of the GREEN TOUR – Green Skills for Sustainable Tourism – project gathered in Brussels on 17th November 2025 for the official Kick-Off Meeting, marking the formal launch of a 36-month Erasmus+ cooperation initiative, co-funded by the European Commission, designed to strengthen green competences within the tourism sector, with a particular focus on coastal areas. GREEN TOUR aims to support the twin transition of the tourism industry by equipping Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), students and tourism professionals with micro-credentials and practical training aligned with GreenComp, the EU’s sustainability competence framework. The agenda included an in-depth overview of the project’s: Partners reaffirmed the project’s commitment to enhance HEIs’ capacity to support the green transition of the tourism sector, foster academic-industry cooperation and deliver targeted skilling, upskilling and reskilling opportunities for the current and future tourism workforce. A Multidisciplinary European Partnership The consortium brings together 9 organisations from across the EU, representing Higher Education Institutions, tourism boards, digital innovation actors and policy organisations: Each partner presented its institutional role and contribution to GREEN TOUR during a structured “tour de table”. A European Model for Sustainable Tourism The GREEN TOUR project is expected to deliver: The project supports the European goals of decarbonisation, innovation in teaching and the strengthening of green competences across strategic sectors, directly contributing to Erasmus+ priorities in environmental sustainability, digitalisation, and innovative learning practices. UNITY EUROPE project kicks off to support integration of young immigrants across Europe

IT Solutions for All is excited to announce the kick-off of the UNITY EUROPE project, marked by an online meeting held on April 9, 2024. UNITY EUROPE, co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 2 – Cooperation partnerships in youth, is implemented by six partners from diverse European countries and aims to equip young immigrants (aged 18 to 30) with essential skills and foster active citizenship to facilitate their integration into European society. The partnership, comprised of the following organisations, brings together a wealth of expertise and experience: During the kick-off meeting partners engaged in the preparation of the project’s work plan, setting deadlines, discussing administrative and financial matters, and outlining further steps to ensure the project’s smooth execution throughout the entire duration of the project (two years). In particular, IHF launched the action plan for Work Package 2 (WP2), aimed at assessing the drivers and challenges faced by young immigrants. This activity will allow partners to identify specific and relevant training areas to be further tackled in Work Package 3 (WP3) and provide vital information and useful links that support young immigrants in navigating their host nations and relevant institutions.
