The second phase of the ATS VIP Project is underway. This phase is entitled “Creation of an OER for accessible, safety and secure travelling of visually impaired persons”
It began in
April 2020 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2020.
The aim of
IO2 is the development of the OER platform that will contain information and
innovative content related to accessibility, safety and protection during the
trip, especially adapted to people with visual impairment and blindness. All
project partners from North Macedonia, Romania and Spain are actively working
for the optimal functioning of the OER platform

Accessible Travel Solutions for Visually Impaired Persons (ATSforVIP) is an Erasmus+ project financed by the European Union.
The consortium of partners, Mreza za Dozivotno Ucenje (Lifelong Learning Network) North Macedonia, IT Solutions for All Spain and Asociatia Babilon Travel Romania, were working on the first intelectual output of the projet which aims at development of a methodology meant to study and compare accessibility and mobility services present in the European countries, mainly focusing on accessible tourism and confront these findings with the needs of visual impaired persons. Project
Predict continues making progress towards its goal, which is to become an
effective tool for young children and people with disabilities to know how to
react in case of disasters, mainly fires, earthquakes and floods.
To this
aim, training modules are being developed that are affordable and accessible to
the target population. Besides, the project will also include an interactive
video game to make learning more attractive to children and a complete app to
be able to access it easily from any mobile device.

ATS Vip is a project aimed at people with disabilities and companions and seeks to provide these people with resources and tools to make travel an experience, rewarding, democratic and safe.
At the same time, it seeks to raise the awareness of companies and agents in the tourism sector and of the population in general, about the importance of this group both economically and socially.

It Solutions for All was in Skopje on January 13th for the
Kick-Off Meeting of ATS for VIP: Accessible Travel Solutions for Visually Impaired
Persons, a Project co-founded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European
Commission, Key Action 2.
ATS for VIP is implemented by a
Consortium of 3 Partners from 3 European countries (The Republic of North
Macedonia, Romania and Spain). The main objective
of ATS for VIP project is the development of barrier-free tourism OER and
cross-traffic navigation solutions to make travelling accessible and safe to
blind and visually impaired people, as AST for VIP project aims to improve the
mobility and the quality of life of these people all around Europe.
During the meeting, Partners presented
their organizations and jumpstarted Project implementation discussing the
methodology of Intellectual Output 1 “Creation of methodological framework
for accessible and safety traveling for visual impaired persons”, presenting
the design, the functionality of the website and the OER platform: IO2 “Creation

It Solutions for All was in Skopje on January 15th for the
Kick-Off Meeting of PREDICT: Prevention of Disasters ICT (Informatic and
Computer Technology), a Project co-founded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the
European Commission, Key Action 2.
PREDICT is implemented by a
Consortium of 5 Partners from 3 European countries (The Republic of North
Macedonia, Bulgaria and Spain).
The main objective of PREDICT project is promoting culture of disaster risk
prevention within a community through education about disasters, public
awareness and trainings.
All the deliverables of the project will be presented and structured in
an accessible and target-oriented OER platform.
During the meeting, Partners presented
their organizations and role in the project, activities plan, human resources involved
and the budget plan. Moreover legal, financial, administrative and
methodological issues were discussed and the OER platform was presented.
IT Solutions for All is a
non-profit NGO that seeks training in ICT (Information and Communication
Technologies) for those people who lack the necessary knowledge to function
comfortably in the technological world in which we find ourselves.
