IT Solutions For All Promotes Digital Inclusion for Women through HYPATIA at Opportunity Morning 2025

IT Solutions For All participated in Opportunity Morning 2025, a lively street event held in the Mangas Verdes neighbourhood of Málaga. The initiative transforms the area into an interactive, open-air hub where local companies, associations, and educational organizations present services, projects, and opportunities directly to young people and the community. The event encourages dialogue, hands-on activities, and networking in an informal setting, promoting employability, digital skills, and social inclusion. At the event, ITSFA presented the HYPATIA project, an Erasmus+‑funded initiative addressing digital inclusion and online safety for vulnerable women, including homemakers and women at risk of social exclusion. HYPATIA aims to reduce the digital gender gap by equipping participants with practical skills, awareness of online risks, and the confidence to navigate the digital environment safely. Representatives from ITSFA showcased the project’s key results, including educational resources developed throughout HYPATIA. A central highlight was the HYPATIA OER platform, a free, multilingual digital hub offering tailored training modules, awareness-raising content, and exercises designed to improve digital literacy, cybersecurity knowledge, and critical understanding of online challenges. The platform’s interactive components, accessible format, and certificate options ensure it can be used by women from diverse backgrounds across Europe. ITSFA engaged with participants, illustrating the impact of HYPATIA on empowering women and fostering digital inclusion. The team also shared insights into the project’s methodology, results, and potential for replication, demonstrating how digital empowerment can support both social and economic participation.
