ITSFA Hosts HYPATIA Focus Point to Promote Women’s Digital Inclusion and Skills Development IT Solutions For All organized a HYPATIA Focus Point at the Casa de la Juventud of Alhaurín de la Torre, bringing together a group of young participants to explore innovative digital learning resources designed to support women’s inclusion in the digital world and strengthen key competences for the future. During the session, participants were introduced to the HYPATIA project, its main objectives, and the European consortium working together to promote equal opportunities through digital education. The event also showcased the project’s OER platform, available at www.hypatia-project.eu, which offers free and accessible learning materials tailored to the needs of women seeking to enhance their digital skills. HYPATIA aims to foster women’s digital inclusion by providing practical, accessible, and real-life-oriented training opportunities that empower learners to confidently engage with technology and the digital economy. The Focus Point featured presentations of the project’s key training modules, including:• Digital Entrepreneurship• Using ICT Tools in Daily Life• Artificial Intelligence with Confidence• Online E-learning Platform Participants had the opportunity to discover how these training resources can support personal and professional development, encourage innovation, and help build confidence in using digital technologies. ITSFA impulsa la inclusión digital de las mujeres mayores a través del proyecto HYPATIA

Como parte del proyecto HYPATIA, It Solutions For All (ITSFA) organizó con éxito una sesión de Focus Point en la que participó un grupo de mujeres mayores, con el objetivo de promover la inclusión digital y contribuir a reducir la brecha digital de género. El evento brindó a las participantes la oportunidad de conocer el proyecto HYPATIA, sus objetivos y el consorcio internacional de organizaciones europeas que trabajan conjuntamente para apoyar el empoderamiento digital de las mujeres. Asimismo, se presentó la plataforma de Recursos Educativos Abiertos (OER) del proyecto, disponible en www.hypatia-project.eu, que ofrece materiales formativos gratuitos diseñados para fortalecer las competencias digitales y la confianza en el uso de la tecnología. Durante la sesión, ITSFA presentó el programa formativo del proyecto, que aborda temas clave cada vez más relevantes para la vida cotidiana y el desarrollo profesional, entre ellos: El Focus Point creó un entorno acogedor en el que las participantes pudieron debatir sobre los desafíos relacionados con la adopción de nuevas tecnologías y explorar cómo las herramientas digitales pueden favorecer una mayor independencia, participación activa y aprendizaje a lo largo de toda la vida. The event provided participants with an opportunity to discover the HYPATIA project, its objectives, and the international consortium of European organizations working together to support women’s digital empowerment. IT Solutions for All Organises Focus Points to Present the HYPATIA Project in Málaga

IT Solutions for All successfully hosted four Focus Points dedicated to the HYPATIA project, held at two different locations of the associated partner Arrabal-AID. The sessions brought together participants to explore the project’s key elements, including its objectives, expected results, and the main benefits of the HYPATIA OER Platform, one of the project’s central outputs. The platform is free of charge, open and accessible 24/7, user-friendly, and designed to host all the training courses developed within the project. It offers learners and educators a flexible, comprehensive, and easily accessible digital learning environment. During the Focus Points, ITSFA also conducted testing activities with participants, focusing on three training modules developed within HYPATIA: These tests provided valuable feedback on the content, usability, and overall impact of the modules, highlighting their practical relevance and value for diverse target groups. The HYPATIA project is a European initiative with partners from Italy, Spain, Malta, and the Czech Republic, aimed at addressing the digital gender gap. It focuses on housewives and women in unpaid caregiving roles, who often face social discrimination and are vulnerable to online risks. The project provides tailored digital literacy tools and training to empower these women, boosting their digital confidence, safety, and social inclusion.
