ALL-IN (Advancing Language Learning for Inclusive Narratives) – Transnational Project Meeting III Held in Brussels and ALL Toolbox available online

On 21st May 2025, the third Transnational Project Meeting (TPM III) of the “Advancing Language Learning for Inclusive Narratives – ALL-IN” project was successfully held in Brussels, at the headquarters of the Belgian partner, IHF – Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires. The meeting gathered representatives from all partner organizations to assess the progress made and to align on the next crucial phases of the project. ALL-IN is a European cooperation partnership in the field of Youth, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission. The project aims to equip youth workers with the tools to challenge discrimination and promote inclusive values through language learning and intercultural dialogue. The consortium, composed of partners from several EU countries, is working collaboratively to develop an inclusive learning environment and foster inclusive communication within the Youth sector, benefiting individuals, educators, organisations, and society as a whole. The TPM III was organized into several focused working sessions, each addressing key deliverables and project activities. The day began with a review of administrative and financial updates to ensure effective project management and compliance. This was followed by an overview of all work packages (WPs), and later, discussions on dissemination strategies aimed at enhancing the project’s visibility across digital platforms and youth networks. A particularly significant part of the meeting was devoted to Work Package 3 (WP3): ALL-IN Toolbox and Gamification. This innovative package is at the heart of the project’s pedagogical strategy, offering a set of interactive training materials now available online at this link, in multilanguage version The ALL-IN Toolbox is designed to support youth workers in fostering intercultural dialogue through language learning, using inclusive narratives and playful learning techniques. It includes a variety of practical resources — such as educational games, interactive scenarios, and workshop formats — tailored to make learning more engaging and accessible for diverse youth communities. With the training materials now finalized and published, the next step for the project is to pilot the ALL-IN Toolbox with the target groups, mainly youth workers. Their feedback and engagement will be essential to refine the tools and ensure they meet the needs of those working directly with young people in inclusive learning environments. A YEAR BETTER – Transnational Project Meeting hosted by IHF asbl in Brussels

With Europe’s population aging rapidly, digital exclusion among seniors remains a growing concern. The Erasmus+ project “A Year Better” (AYB) addresses this challenge by equipping older adults with the skills to navigate the digital world, enhancing their independence, inclusion, and quality of life. On May 20th, 2025, partners met in Brussels, hosted by the Belgian partner IHF asbl, for the project’s first in person meeting. The session focused on reviewing progress and aligning the next steps across all the Work Packages. Key discussions included project coordination (WP1), mapping activities (WP2), training development in six languages (WP3), and the design of AYB’s user-friendly Open Educational Resources platform (WP4). A dedicated workshop on green practices further connected AYB’s goals with broader sustainability principles. A highlight of the meeting was Work Package 2 (WP2), led by IAL FVG, which focuses on mapping essential Digital Survival Skills aligned with the DigComp framework. WP2 identifies the competencies seniors need to manage daily online tasks—such as healthcare access and financial services—safely and independently. It also collects free, user-friendly digital tools available in each partner country (Spain, Italy, Poland, North Macedonia) and across the EU, promoting social inclusion and reducing loneliness. Each partner has conducted secondary research and produced national reports, soon to be available on the project website. Together, these resources will form a digital repository to support targeted training and sustainable upskilling paths for seniors. As the project moves forward, A Year Better continues to foster digital inclusion for older adults—ensuring they are confident, connected, and empowered in a digital society. 🔗 www.ayearbetter.eu

NICHE 2 – Transnational Project Meeting II Held in Pescara

On 12th June 2025, the second Transnational Project Meeting of the NICHE 2 project took place in Pescara, Italy, at the headquarters of IDP European Consultants, a partner of the project consortium. The meeting brought together representatives from all partner organisations to review progress, discuss key findings, and plan the next steps of this strategic European initiative The NICHE 2 project, under the reference number 2024-1-IS01-KA220-VET-000243941, is a Cooperation Partnership in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET), co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission. The project aims to empower practitioners in the field of Intangible Cultural Heritage with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate and lead the green and digital transition in alignment with sustainable development goals. Building on the success of the previous NICHE initiative, NICHE 2 promotes capacity-building through tailored training resources, fostering innovation and sustainability across the cultural heritage ecosystem. During the meeting, project partners worked collaboratively on the needs assessment phase (Work Package 2), a key component of the project designed to identify the challenges and training requirements faced by cultural sector professionals in adopting sustainable practices. This mapping exercise was conducted at both national levels in consortium countries — Croatia, France, Spain, Italy and Iceland — and at a broader European level. Together, the partners analysed the results of this assessment to define the skills and topics that will shape the NICHE 2 training course to be developed in the coming months. Specifically, the results highlighted that climate change considerations are still rarely integrated into cultural heritage policymaking, and conversely, cultural heritage remains largely absent from climate policy discussions, both at the EU and national levels. The research has also revealed several key gaps that hinder the alignment of ICH practices with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to climate action (SDG 13), sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), and responsible consumption and production (SDG 12): In the coming months, the consortium will present these findings to cultural sector stakeholders —the primary target group of the project — in order to co-design innovative training solutions that directly respond to their real-world needs. Additionally, the meeting served as a platform to coordinate further project activities, including the development of a sustainability-promoting network, dissemination and communication strategies, project management planning, and quality assurance processes.
