ITSFA Empowers Older Women Through Digital Inclusion Activities within the HYPATIA Project

As part of the HYPATIA Project, It Solutions For All successfully organized a Focus Point session involving a group of older women, aiming to promote digital inclusion and contribute to reducing the gender digital divide.

The event provided participants with an opportunity to discover the HYPATIA project, its objectives, and the international consortium of European organizations working together to support women’s digital empowerment. Participants were also introduced to the project’s Open Educational Resources (OER) platform, available at www.hypatia-project.eu , which offers free learning materials designed to strengthen digital skills and confidence.

During the session, ITSFA presented the project’s training programme, covering key topics that are increasingly relevant in everyday life and professional development, including:

  • Available online e-learning platform
  • Digital Entrepreneurship
  • Use of ICT tools in daily activities
  • Understanding and Using Artificial Intelligence with Confidence

The Focus Point created a welcoming environment where participants could discuss challenges related to technology adoption, and explore how digital tools can support greater independence, participation, and lifelong learning.

HYPATIA project seeks to empower women by increasing their digital competencies, fostering self-confidence, and opening new opportunities for personal, social, and professional development in an increasingly digital society.
